I won't attack you, but I won't back you....

Back again.

Just what came over you out on the lawn
when you turned over your earth and let your passions run along
it was a universe with your magnetic pull
and I wanted to stay there until the dawn

and the red still crackles glowing
with the blue pearls twinkling
that furnishes this song

Rocktober 2009

What is mind? No matter. What is matter? Never mind.
George Berkeley

Summer has ended- according to the calender but not in my eyes. Sure, it's colder and the clouds have moved in but if you always have the sun in your eyes then it isn't really raining, is it?

I've been designing, seeing live music, and trying to get outdoors more often. Recently, I went back to the Hobbit Trails for the first time in years. It was great seeing everything so lush and green with moss covering the trees like a fall sweater.

I hope your life is as happy and peaceful as you want it to be.

Stop The Maddness

I have been quiet enough. For the past week I've been watching the protests in Iran and have seen people being crushed by an oppressive regime. Technology has leveled the playing field. Try as they might to silence the media people now have the instruments to speak out even when they are attempting to be violently silenced. It is a good thing to have these tools to express the truth but when the truth is so violent and bloody, well, it is very difficult to take.

The Iranian citizens have my undying sympathies and prayers. I hope that truth and common sense prevails. Sincere dissent has a way of winning that I hope will end in more love and less violence.

The Drowned

"The Hazards Of Love 4 (The Drowned)"

Margaret arrayed the rocks around the hull before it was sinking,
A million stones, a million bones, a million holes within the chinking.

And painting rings around your eyes these peppered holes so filled with crying.
A whisper weighed upon the tattered down where you and I were lying.

Tell me now, tell me this, A forest's son, a river's daughter,
A willow on the willow wisp, our ghosts will wander all of the water.

So let's be married here today these rushing waves to bare our witness,
And we will lye like river stones rolling only where it takes us.

But I pulled you and I called you here,
And I caught you and I brought you here
These hazards of love, never more will trouble us.

Oh Margaret the lapping waves are licking quietly at our ankles
Another bow another breath this brilliant chill's come for the shackle.

With this long last rush of air we speak our vows and sorry whispers,
When the waves came crashing down, he closed his eyes and softly kissed her.

But I pulled you and I called you here,
And I caught you and I brought you here
These hazards of love, never more will trouble us.
And these hazards of love, never more will trouble us.

What do we know about you?

Poem written last week-

A dish is dropped in the street
you think you know your path?
you better watch your feet

watching the birds fly
feather colored serene
floating, singing, why?
to tell you of love
ht
tell nothing without direct sincerity
and don't sugar coat me
tell me something deep and handy
but don't be desperately trying
tell me tonight we can connect deeply
and respect each other completely

----------------
Then night closes in with quietness
asking what you know about us
I can't keep quiet I trust
my home has ghosts about us

the night, my sight, my life
swirls and twirls around like the big sky
I fall back with shock when I step outside
I can't keep it away I can't keep it inside

Then the night closes in with quietness
I've got to simmer down for feeling this
but something else is bringing a twist
so I try to close in with quietness

I love you do I have to love this?

Ciao.
